What is Dipping Tobacco?
This form of tobacco requires the user to spit out saliva. Thatâs due to the fact that dip is fermented, and swallowing the tobacco juices can lead to an upset stomach. Unlike chewing tobacco, dipping tobacco doesnât require any chewing, as the saliva naturally extracts the juices from the tobacco product.
How to Use Dipping Tobacco?
Dipping tobacco is used by placing a pinch, or "dip", of tobacco between the lip and the gum (sublabial administration). The act of using it is called dipping.
What is Snuff Tobacco?
Snuff tobacco is powdered or finely cut tobacco packaged either moist or dry. Generally, you can expect American snuff to be moist and sold in different flavors and strengths. Snuff tobacco looks very similar to tea bags.
How to Use Snuff Tobacco?
It is snorted or "sniffed" (alternatively sometimes written as "snuffed") into the nasal cavity, delivering a swift hit of nicotine and a lasting flavored scent (especially if flavoring has been blended with the tobacco).
